Nothing. Registration is completely free for advertisers and users alike.

Publishing listings is entirely free. We do, however, offer paid options to boost the visibility of your listings. These options are available on the "New listing" or "New auction" pages. You'll also find an overview of any fees related to your listings on the "My account" page.

Yes. Your transactions are protected by the most modern encryption technologies, should you choose to use them. That said, your transactions remain entirely your own responsibility.

Several options are available on our site:

A search bar labelled "Search for words..." is available at the top of the homepage. It lets you quickly search by keyword.

An advanced search module at the top of every page is also available if you'd like to search using more specific criteria — either still by keyword but with drop-down menus at your disposal, or with filters you can use on their own or combined.

You can also browse the categories listed on our homepage.

Yes. You can build a list of Favourites in the "My account" section. Every listing published on our site has an "Add to favourites" link. Just click that link and the listing will be added to your favourites list. In the same way, you can add usernames to your favourites.

You can create alerts in the "My account" section. Our system will automatically search for any new listings matching your criteria and you'll receive an email notification every time a listing matching your alert is published.

We let users contact the advertiser by email using a form available on each listing. The advertiser receives an email they can reply to either by email or via our internal messaging system. If they'd rather stay anonymous, the advertiser can choose not to disclose their email address to other users.

Don't set a price for certain kinds of transactions, for example: exchanges (unless a balancing payment is requested or offered), donations, meet-ups, friendship listings between individuals, ...

It isn't possible to post an auction listing for certain kinds of transactions, such as: exchange listings or grouped exchanges (unless a balancing payment is requested or offered), grouped listings looking for offer, request or exchange partners, donations, meet-ups, friendship listings between individuals,...

For real-estate transactions, and depending on the laws in force in the country where the site is used, the deal must be finalised through a notary. Do not make or receive payment beforehand.

You can make a donation by posting an "offer" listing with a price of zero euros, specifying, if you wish, what kind of individual or organisation you'd like to donate to.

For a real-estate listing, don't confuse the size of the house with that of the land...

In a standard (ascending) auction, bidders offer increasingly higher amounts starting from the starting price, until the auction ends or the immediate sale price is reached. A descending auction works the other way round: the starting price is the highest point, and bidders offer increasingly lower amounts down to the immediate sale price, which acts as the floor. In both cases, a minimum bid increment applies to every new offer, and you can follow the current best bid directly on the listing page.

Yes. Federe Site doesn't impose any geographical restriction: your country is entered freely at registration, and you can choose from several currencies (Euros, Dollars, Pound Sterling, Bitcoin, local currencies) depending on your listings. Delivery arrangements (shipping method, costs, timeframes) are to be agreed directly between you and the other party when publishing the listing.

You freely specify, on each listing, the shipping method, any shipping costs, and the delivery timeframe. Federe Site does not get involved in arranging delivery: it's a direct arrangement between you and your buyer or seller.

These are optional add-ons to give your listing more visibility: the "Prestige" status places your listing in a privileged spot, the "bold title" option highlights it visually, and you can also add photos or videos beyond the number included for free. These options are available from your listing's edit page.
